She began at ESPN working on the inaugural Extreme Games in an internship as a senior at Providence College in 1995. Overseeing a myriad roles in public relations, marketing and event planning throughout the 20-plus-year growth of the X Games, leading global marketing for all X Games-branded properties. In addition to traditional local and global marketing, leading a team remotely, she directed the fan-facing festival and music elements for each X Games event, event production, corporate outreach, synergy with the ESPN and Disney teams, sustainability and brand messaging. In 2016, she led the creation and launch of the Shred Hate program at ESPN, which focuses on bullying prevention, reaching more than 90,000 students nationwide. Globally, Amy served as the overall event director for the X Games Tignes (France), Munich and Sydney events, overseeing all aspects of these international events.
